Kathryn is a Atlanta/New York based actress. She is currently an honors student at the University at Buffalo, majoring in Music Theatre and minoring in American Sign Language and Creative Writing.

Ever since seeing her elementary school’s production of “Annie,” Kathryn has felt an overwhelming connection to the stage. Whether it was correcting her friends choreography at her High School Musical themed birthday party, or taking on the persona of a little girl from the Mayflower (complete with a British accent) on her 5th Thanksgiving, Kathryn always wanted to perform and create. She began doing theatre in 4th grade, where she played Hodel in “Fiddler on the Roof.” Since then, she has grasped at every opportunity that has come her way. As a dedicated member of her elementary, middle school, and high school theatre department, she participated in every single show her schools produced, and served as Musical Theatre class president and Theatre department president during her junior and senior year respectively. She has had the privilege of attending University at Buffalo for the past 3 years as a member of their Music Theatre class of 2024, and she has loved every minute of it. This wonderful program has given her chances to learn several different styles of dance, like jazz, ballet, music theatre, and tap, and has provided acting classes with backgrounds in Meisner technique, Linklater technique, and Alexander Technique.

In addition to performing, Kathryn has a huge passion for studying American Sign Language and advocating for Deaf/Disabled accessibility and representation within the entertainment industry. She has been taking ASL classes for over 5 years, and she hopes to participate in shows with Deaf performers and Deaf Culture involved. She also plans to become a certified interpreter. In her spare time, Kathryn enjoys writing short stories and screenplays, obsessing over movies, and playing with her cute kitten, Phantom Dennis.
